Hello everybody,

the last public Update is not long ago, but the next Beta arrived.

As help for the Update, you will find a document named 1.18x upgrade.pdf in the Documentation folder.

For the new Position feature, you have to Download the Position_Data.zip and extract the Position.mdb to the /Navigation_Data folder.

The Database based on the default FS9 and FSX Scenery, you can update to your used scenery. More in the 1.18x upgrade.pdf.

Just installed the Beta v.1.182 but has a problem/question.

All my MIP displays are dark (go all black) after starting the server. The same with the FDS-CDU hardware displays.

Usually starts from cold and dark, pushing the battery button on my FDS overhead hardware and the physical FDS overhead will light up now as it did before, but the graphic S-A overhead display is al deed (don’t respond).
Same with the physical FDS-MCP hardware. Starts and responds both with switches, buttons and displays but the graphic S-A MCP don’t respond or light up (the “FDS-glare” is running).

Sure to be some banal settings I have overseen, but unable to find it

Al the hardware works, overhead, MCP and CDU’s but all displays are dark (after starting the server).

No fun to fly blind
All did work before upgrade from 1.161

Anyone have any ideas? Please!

Hi Per,

Please can you check that the Standby Power switch is enabled.
ELEC_STANDBY_POWER_SWITCH= (value 2)

There have been a few changed to the elecrical system.
CPT's displays and Left DEU are powered from the Standby power bus.
FO's displays and Right DEU are powered from the R AC transfer bus.

So with the Standby Power switch ON and the Battery switch ON the CPT's monitors are powered, then once the L DEU boots the CPT displays appear. The DEU boot time is usually a minute or so, this can be set in the server but is defaulted to 5 secs for convenience.

Once AC power is established the FO's screens will switch on and the R DUE will boot.


- If the Standby power switch is OFF then the CPT's displays will be blank.

Hi Chris,

do you use the Aircraft cfg from Version 1.184 or an older?
Can you backup your old Aircraft cfg and delete it, than restart the server. He create a new with the default values for Version 1.184.

I am using Aircfaft.cfg that came in V1.183. (deleted olds ones in V1.161 so that when I run V1.183 it would produce new ones)

Should I do the same for V1.184?

No there is noch change on that part.

I hope Mark will see that, I will write him a mail.
There is a Problem with the LNAV values, if you like you can try it by your own.

I have with my POSKY 738 in FSX.
LNAV_AGGRESSION_LARGE=1
LNAV_AGGRESSION_SMALL=0.5

What i see in the Video is a to aggresif reaction try to reduce the values.

I hope you get is fast, please report back.
